rehabilitates between six and ten houses a year. A total of 100 houses have been
completed, and approximately 75 of the original homeowners remain in their homes.
Rehabilitating and preserving houses minimizes the number of vacant properties
and vacant lots in the neighborhood and curbs the drug activity occurring within
and around those vacancies. Our efforts help to maintain the historic look and
feel of the neighborhood.
